The MemAct! Core team will introduce a concept for participatory learning approaches in Holocaust Education and history teaching in classrooms, commemoration sites, museums, and public spaces.

Paul Salmons and Wolfgang Schmutz will provide general insights into the current challenges of Holocaust education and the possibilities of participant-centered learning. Karin Schneider, as the head of education in the museums of the City of Linz, will provide some examples of the city museum’s educational approach and discuss the role of a city museum in this context.
